Next Level Awards has a commitment to quality, dependability, and artistry. We want you to be pleased with your order. To this end, any defects in material or workmanship will be corrected as quickly as possible, and without charge. However, keep in mind that each piece is hand-made and has unique quality and special appearance of its own. Slight variations in the dimensions and seams are signatures of these hand-crafted pieces.

The following are typical characteristics of hand-made glass and crystal and are not considered flaws, defects, or imperfections:

• SEAMS: Most of our glass is available in 3/8”, ½” and ¾” thick. Occasionally we have request for an award to be created anywhere between 1” to 1-1/2” thick. In order to create a thicker glass award, we glue two pieces of glass together. A slight seam line will be visible when this technique is used and is unavoidable. We highly polish all glass after it is glued together, to ensure that the seam lines are as inconspicuous as possible.

• SHEAR OR STRAW MARK: A shear mark is the scar that occurs as a result of the shears used to cut away the molten glass before it us dipped into the mold.

• PONTIL MARK: A pontil mark is the scar or rough area left on blown glass where the pontil, or punt was broken from the blown glass. A pontil mark or scar indicates that the glass was handmade.

• TINY BUBBLES: Tiny bubbles that are suspended in the glass are called seeds and are caused by gasses trapped in the molten glass during the manufacturing process. Seeds are quite common.
